maya 2009 on fedora 8

Notes:

install NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-310.19.run ( download latest from nvida site)

yum install tcsh

yum install libXp 

install maya. 

for crack:

use windows cracking method  to create aw.dat

license location /var/flexlm

copy the generated aw.dat into this directory (use windows pc to create aw.dat)

for shortcut problems

GNOME - system - preferences  - look and feel - windows - moment key - select super 

KDE - control center - desktop - windows behavior - windows actions - inner windows
- change to nothing 

maya settings : Window>Settings/Preferences>Hotkeys.
